God's love is radical and liberating...and sadly not deeply understood or experienced by most professing Christians.
There is a great gulf of disparity between what orthodox Christians say they believe about God's love and what they honestly admit they feel deep in their hearts.
Why do so many of us mentally assent to the reality of God's love but usually fail to really feel loved by Him? This is because God's love is so unlike the conditional love we have experienced here on earth. It doesn't make sense to us. It's a love that God wants us to experience but in many ways is incomprehensible!
Beginning at 10:30AM on September 5, 2010 and continuing for at least six weeks, Pastor Dane will be teaching on the subject of God's radical and liberating love. We believe that God is going to bridge the gulf between knowledge and experience and many of us will come to "experientially know the love of Christ that is beyond comprehension." (Ephesians 3:18-19)
How in the world can you come to know something that is incomprehensible?
You have to experience it as a powerful supernatural intervention of God in your life. In other words, it's a miracle. There's no other way to get it. But it's God's plan that you miraculously get it!
