At 9:30 am folks gather in the “prayer room” (Room 10 in the education building) each Sunday to pray over all the areas of ministry of the church and to ask for God’s power and presence to be manifest in all our Sunday services.
We offer Sunday school classes for all ages through 12th grade from 9:30 to 10:15 each Sunday in September through May. These classes are age appropriate and meet in the classrooms in the education building. The rooms are marked and there is a information placard at both ends of the education building, that gives the room numbers for the various ages.
Connections Cafe hospitality time happens from 9:30-10:15am each Sunday in September through May. Come enjoy a cup of coffee and a light breakfast snack in our fellowship hall. This is a great place to meet some new people or to hang out with friends. Some people do discipleship groups at this time as well. Periodic adult classes are offered during this time as well.
Sunday Worship Service- 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Praise and Worship followed by Teaching
Our worship service starts promptly at 10:30am each Sunday and we finish around noon. We offer a contemporary praise and worship service. It’s not all scripted around here…as we seek to be led by the Spirit in our corporate times of worship.
We have designed our service to be flexible but not chaotic. We give God room to lead in order that he may speak to our hearts in a meaningful way. Therefore, we are not rigidly committed to the published order of service. As we remain sensitive to the Spirit we may extend our time of praise and worship, or stop the service in midstream to give the congregation an opportunity to come forward and receive prayer, or let the congregation share experiences of how the Lord is working in their lives.
Although we are a conservative congregation theologically, our worship time would be characterized as a more expressive corporate experience. So, it is not unusual to see people within the congregation raise their hands, clap, kneel or speak out loud as the Lord leads them. The result is a beautiful expression of worship that we believe blesses God’s heart and encourages His people.
